Class DoJo
1. Everyone will have 3 Smithfield expectations on class dojo Respect, Responsibility, and Self Control. These are the things we all commonly expect children at our school to display.
2. As a class we may have 2 more dojo point categories. We should not have more then 3-5 dojo categories. This helps special area teachers know how your students earn points and will help your students know exactly what is expected of them.
3. We praise in public and correct in private. We are a school who believes in positive reinforcement but we know students need to be corrected. We take away points from students in private or not point it out in front of other children.
Class Dojo helps to build student’s learning habits and boost classroom engagement. It allows teachers to track student behavior and learning skills throughout the day!
